Before I get in trouble with my father-in-law
So on Thursday I got an email from my father-in-law entitled "neglected blog?" and it read, "Isn’t there a law, or regulation, or standard, or practice, or convention, or code of honor, or expectation, or something that says blogs featuring pregnant ladies are suppose to be updated at least once since November 17? Pictures?" I know, I know, I'm terrible so... like the title of this post says... before I get in trouble with my father-in-law, here are some new pictures of pregnant Laura and a general update regarding the pregnancy, nursery and everything baby.

Oh my gosh - I do look bigger, don't I?
Laura's Got a Big Belly:

Picture of Dan and I at our Young Couples (Church) Christmas Party:

The nursery is nearly finished! I am in the process of doing some "finishing touches." A friend asked, "So are you nesting or is this just Laura being Laura?" Indeed, I think it is just me being me. I got a ganga (spanish slang for a really good deal) on a used glider - $65 bucks! I am thrilled. I think I am going to recover it (although it is already pink gingham so I wouldn't have to but as another friend said, knowing me, I would). We'll see. I could do it with existing left over fabric from the crib bumper pad so I very well might. Or who knows, mabye I will give my mom another project when she comes out to help after the baby is born. Just what she wants right.
What else... I still feel really good. I don't think I have started to waddle yet. My only compliant is heartburn and Pepcid Complete is helping with that. Indeed, there are some maternity clothes I can no longer wear but I got to don my holiday maternity dress (above) which I called my "cute little maternity dress" to which my mother-in-law responded "little and maternity don't go together. That is an oxy-moron." She has a point doesn't she? All and all, things are going very well. Tomorrow I start week 34 - Crazy! Only 6 weeks to go (give or take of course).
And one last picture - this is from my baby shower in Tucson, which was basically three weeks ago. It isn't a great pic but it is one of the few where I am standing (my mom and I are holding up the beautiful quilt she made for the baby). Do I look bigger?
