What I (Marie) have been up to the last few weeks
When my daddy went to Miami for a firm retreat, I wore a special outfit the day he left in honor of Florida.

I'm practicing my folklorico dancing. (Just in case you don't know what folklorico dancing is check out some clips of "my daddy's people" (as Christy might say) on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3eyM3uIv28&feature=related or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cuCSj4W_3q4&feature=related)
My Nana and Papa had a stop over in Atlanta on their way home from New York so they came to visit me. I am pretty irresistible that way. We had fun together. Nana does this thing with her fingers that I thought was really funny (see the video).
Mom bought this onesie for me before she even knew I was a girl! Good thing I am, and I like pink. She thought it was funny; I don't get it - of course you shouldn't put baby in the corner. I think this is the last time I will get to wear it though. I'm a big, growing girl (16 lbs to be exact).

For mother's day, I gave my mom a rose. Well, kinda. Daddy took this picture of me and we put it in my mommy's card. She liked it a lot and had a great mother's day weekend. She used the weekend to actually finish the Mei Tai baby carrier she had been working on. Now she carries me in it to a lot of cool places. In fact, earlier this week, I went to a Braves game with my mom and dad for the first time.

It was a good game and the Braves ended up winning but it went on past my bedtime so I fell asleep. I like being snuggled up close to mommy but when everyone stood up and cheered when John Smoltz came out of the bullpen, it woke me up. It was pretty easy to go back to sleep though.
